+ How does Urban Green’s Education Portal work?

The Education Portal offers a suite of on-demand courses available to the public. To purchase an on-demand course or a course bundle, you must first register for a free account here.

+ What type of credits can I earn?

These courses offer a range of GBCI, AIA and PDH credits. Be sure to check the course description to confirm which course offers which credits. A certificate of completion will be available to download on your dashboard after you finish the course. This certificate will contain your GBCI number, which can be reported directly to USGBC.

Urban Green will collect all AIA numbers during account registration and will report credits on your behalf. If you need to check or update your account information, first log in and then click here.

If you are pursuing PDHs in NYS, please download the Credit Certificate under "My Dashboard" and keep it in your records in case you are audited. If you are seeking PDHs outside of NYS, you can request an emailed certificate from RCEP in the last lesson of each completed on-demand course.

Please allow up to two weeks to process AIA credits and PDHs (outside NYS via RCEP).

+ How much are courses?

Depending on the length, individual courses range from $10 - $35. Course bundles are also available for purchase.

Thanks to funding from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), Urban Green is able to offer subsidized courses for designated Disadvantaged Communities and members of a NYSERDA Priority Population. + How can I contact Urban Green for assistance?

+ The course content isn’t loading. What should I do?

If a course page or interactive activity isn’t loading, your browser may be holding outdated data. Please try the following steps to see if they resolve the issue:

Clear your browser’s cache and cookies for the Education Portal. Change time range to 'all time’. Below are a few help articles on how to do this:
Try accessing the site in Incognito or Private Browsing mode.
Check and install any available updates for your browser.
If possible, try using a different computer.

+ I’m a GPRO student. How do I access my study materials and exam?

All GPRO students have been emailed instructions to set up their account from gpro@urbangreencouncil.org. You can log in here. Please reach out if you have not yet received any instructions.

+ Can I access the Urban Green Education portal on my phone?

While you can access the portal on your phone, we recommend using a computer, laptop, or tablet to take any on-demand courses.

+ Does Urban Green have live, instructor-led trainings?
