ABOUT THIS COURSE:

The need for oversight on construction projects is essential to set the project up for success. This course will focus on quality assurance and quality control techniques to ensure energy efficiency goals are being met.

This on-demand class will review a variety of energy efficiency topics including construction quality, documentation, implementation, what to avoid, and best practices from successful projects. Click through the interactive lessons below to complete this course! 

This on-demand class is a GPRO Construction Management elective should take approximatley 60 minutes to complete.



AFTER THIS COURSE, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO:

- Define construction quality

- Explain best practices for ensuring project success

- Review quality documentation requirements and QA/QC mechanisms

- Identify quality issues, how to correct, and document corrections


CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS:
To receive continuing education credits, students must achieve an 80% on the learning comprehension quiz at the end of the course. The quiz can be taken as many times as needed in order to pass.

- GBCI: Approved for 0.5 CE Credits

- AIA CES: Approved for 0.5 LU/HSW Hours

With over ten years of energy efficiency and building science experience, Michael provides consulting, certification support, site inspections, and performance testing for primarily new construction multifamily projects in the New York City and Northeast region.
